I enjoy exploring my imagination through drawings and paintings. I'm currently exploring new worlds while I learn and perfect my skill with acrylic painting. I have an extreme love for Sci-fi and fantasy themes so I've been trying to combine the two in a series of stores or Sci-fi fairy tales.
I grew up a small town in northern Michigan and had plenty of time to daydream in the quiet country life. At a young age I knew that my love for nerdy and geeky things would eventually lead me to a career in gaming or art in some way. I studied computer animation in college and soon realized that the tedious nature of the job was not what I had in mind, I wanted something more personal. Now I work as a graphic designer while I work on building up a series of stories and original paintings.
I'm not normally one for resolutions, but this year feels different. This year I'm taking myself seriously and getting smart about how I plan. With a full time job and aspirations for personal projects I have discovered that planning has been an important tool that's been lacking in my life. I will share a few posts about my planning process eventually but today I wanted to share my plans for 2019.
